Do the New Ext Instr/fx Devices Make things better for MPCs
Do the New Ext Instr/fx Devices Make things better for MPCs
those using mpcs, do these automatic devices make provide any mpc usage benefits in timing or anything else since they handle latency automaticly?

this has been the best festure in live 7 (after slicing) for me. now i can really integrate my external synths... i use the live arpeggios alot and the best is to mix in effects. only thing missing is a dedicated programm change tool.
same goes for mpcs... finally a way to overcome the lousy mpc effects. the latency compensation works very well for me. I am not shure if the mpc can recieve more then one external midi chanel at a time....

i'm pretty sure it can, i remember doing a lot of midi channel stuff when i had my mpc. i know it can send a bunch of midi channels at once (i had the mpc change effects in outboard gear and play synths), so it would stand to reason that it can receive a bunch of midi channels as well.orgul wrote:this has been the best festure in live 7 (after slicing) for me. now i can really integrate my external synths... i use the live arpeggios alot and the best is to mix in effects. only thing missing is a dedicated programm change tool.
