Does anybody know where i can get freeware software that converts files from wave to mp3,cheers.

for PC use CDEX with the LAME encoder, both are free and easy to find. for the LAME encoder you download a .dll file and put that in the 'encoders' directory or something like that.

i use foobar2000 coz it's brainless and fast. you do have to read about setting it up with LAME to encode to mp3.
