Could you possibly re-word your question, scenario or whatever it is you are trying to convey to us?
This would probably help with finding a solution.

Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

I want to use 1 track and no more - this is my main requirement.
I want to send a midi note to to a vst plugin on channel 2 (or anything other than channel 1) without having to create a second midi track.
My vst plugin (Guru) takes midi on lots of different channels but the only way I can get midi to it on anything other than channel 1 is if I have lots of additional midi tracks with "midi to" set to what ever channel I want my Guru to recieve on.
My hardware sends the notes on the correct channel but if I have just 1 midi track in LIve, all the notes get re-mapped to channel 1.
I have posted about this before but I just can't find a solution.

I'm very sorry. The way you phrased your first posts just seemed as if you were drunk or just taking the piss. That's why I compared to those other posts where you made sense.penningt wrote:Thanks Moody, I will have a look at your suggestions. How easy is it to code with Bidule?
Lo-Fi Massahkah, your reaction was a little abrupt - It is a genuine use case scenario and I am only interested in making a positive contribution to this forum.
Sorry.
