Ableton Plz install Anti spam protocol on ur forum...

Post by j2j » Tue Dec 18, 2007 11:00 am

Its enough all ready...

all forums get spam...

but I have not seen one that gets this much.

every ten minutes they is a bot with something to make your penis grow...

who cares...

I can't believe there is even money to be made with this, but I guess some guys are slightly unhappy...

but shucks, this is a music software forum.
too many lasers...

Hi,

We are currently discussing on an appropriate way to reduce the bot attack. In the mean time, as you can seem, spam posts get removed as soon as possible.

I like them. I find the links to be mainly educational.

Plus my penis is so massive now I am able to satisfy my wifes needs.

Well, sometimes I wonder which content is worse aka less appropiate for kids reading posts in this forum, the spam or the talk about the spam.

How much more discussion is needed before something is actually implemented?

Yeah it only took about 2 years of spam :D
My old signature was pretty stupid, so I changed it to this one.

I was not relating to the spam, but to the choice of words and oftentimes sexual implications of those posts (not the spam, but the answers about the spam).

Some people seem to forget that there are alot of kids around these forums. And frankly, if any few women should happen be around I wont bet on that she stayed for long. To women many posts must seem like we have mainly premature boys running around here.

Looks like captcha doesn't work too well: new spam from accounts created today.

Indeed. The current captcha is there for a good while now, at least a year. We're currently looking for a better solution.
