1ghz of ram/macbook pro for live performance

Im getting all my audio and effects ready for my first live pa and it occured me that i may not have enough memory. I know its hard to say as everyone would have different amounts of tracks and effects but have people tried this before?

i would say get 2 gig.. my music partner had the same machine as me but only 1 gig and he had many more glitches and stutters during performance as i did..
