Boss RE20 pedal as an external audio effect??

Post by alin55 » Fri Jan 11, 2008 10:58 am

I bought the Boss RE20 Space Echolast week - works fine as a guitar pedal but ideally I'd like to set it up as a send/return in ableton using Live 7's new "external audio effect" device - easier said than done.......if anyone out there has tried this and could spare the time to talk me through it........??
cheers

s'OK thanks - looks as if I didn't have the connections made correctly between the pedal and my soundcard and then, in addition, I had the wrong options enabled for both the soundcard and ableton.
nothing major
a mate at work has drawn me a wiring diagram and written down instructions for enabling the correct options. I will try them tonight and hopefully that will be that ..............(famous last words...... :) )

Can you post up the connection diagram alin55?. I too have a RE-20 and would like to use it as an external dub effect unit via send/return.
