if such a thing does exist...
im going to be on a small film shoot in a months time its mostly studio based and im going to be recording the sound. In the past ive used digital recorders to record sound but this time id like to record straight into my mac so im looking for a usb or firewire mixer with at least 4 channels (preferably 4 XLR inputs but 2 will be ok) and an audio interface built in allowing me to record each channel to its own track at the same time. Id also like to use this as my main interface for music production afterwards (part of the reason im deciding to buy one) so it would be good if the audio interface was 96/24 compatable too. Im on Mac OSX. Would it be better to buy something like this or a regular mixer and a new interface with more inputs?
Budget less than £300 (about 600 dollars)
Thanks in advance if anyone can help!
Can anyone recommend a Mixer w/Audio Interface (USB or FW)
