Hi fellow abes,
I have a powerbook (the latest model) with 10.5 OSX in which i have a Western digital MYBook Essential external HD by USB 2.0.. Everytime I power up the laptop, it seems like the external HD is never at rest and it's always seems like the HD is being read. the light is always flickering even though no applications are open.. I don't even have any applications on this except just pure audio files This takes up about about 15-20% of my CPU as it's always on with the Disk monitor Disk Activity always off the charts? Any ideas.
