In terms of music makin, no issues at all though.

when leopard was released some months ago, there was instantly all kinds of chatter on the forum about people having problems - that was enough to scare me away for now.

As I'm gigging regularly at the moment I'm in no rush to update. There's nothing in Leopard thats a must-have for me.
+3 if it isn't broke, don't fix it

as a new mac user I have a question regarding that:
Can I upgrade from tiger to Leopard without installing all my programs again?
I ask because I bought a MacBook Pro running with Tiger but I got a Leopard disc with it.

Yeah. Easy. Just boot and do an upgrade... You SHOULD back up important files first, though, but really, I've done it (well, not to leopard, specifically, but 10.2->10.3->10.4) without a glitch.

There are a few potential issues if you have an app called Shapeshifter or anything else that uses Application Enhancer (logitech mouse drivers, apparently) installed but most likely you don't.
