Ugh :?
15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.

I'm with kabuki...literally...I'm in Dallas too.

...And I can concur...it is the same time ;-)

Yea saw talk about it on another site, went to look but by that time it was up again...maybe they set up some stuff to try and deal with the inevitable rush...Ladies and gentlemen please exit the building slowly...no shoving and pushing.... :P 8O

yeah I noticed too..
I did a traceroute which showed the message stopping 2 stages away from an internal german DNS server which looked like the web server.. so considering the webserver machine itself was down, 15 minutes would be sufficient time to install, boot, test and connect a more powerful replacement server... or better yet, maybe the Live 4 online authentication software ;-) ...
The other possibility is that, they tried to launch the beta, but something went wrong, so they put the ol' site back... P.S. the downtime was more than 15 minutes.
