It's all entertainment.
Popslut, if you really think there are better things to be concerned about that what the hell are you doing allowing yourself to be concerned with this?
"Go help someone..." blah, blah, blah. This is only entertainment, and it's barly passable entertainment at that.
Do you know why I haven't posted anything in nearly 24 hours? It's because I went home, composed on Live, went to dinner with my girlfriend and then (I'll spare you the rest of the details). I don't allow myself to get that upset on an internet forum.
So go and entertain yourself and take the nihilst with you.

Well you're just getting into the same old bullshit that they were.chrysalis33rpm wrote:A very eloquent and well thought out response.popslut wrote:Whatever.
Do you know the subtle differences between Guildford and Petersfield?
No, because they're only relevant to the people that live there. To everyone else in the world they're just practically identical English towns.
To a Tuareg nomad, LA and SF are virtually indistinguishable. Same language, same shops, same cars, same food, same radio, same gas stations, same strip malls, same night sky etc.
They could, however, point out the many differences between this stretch of Sahara Desert and that one.
My point about San Francisco is that, were you to live there all your adult life and rarely step outside, you might be forgiven for forming the opinion that most people are tolerant of gay culture, enthusiastic for a cosmopolitan racial mix, delighted to drive about in a Toyota Prius and boundlessly enthusiastic for vegan food.
So Tone insisting that people aren't likely to be allowing race to be a factor in choosing your next president is mostly indicative of the prevailing attitudes of city in which he lives and not, say, one in Alabama or Louisiana.
I think it is highly likely that a great many people are thinking "anyone but the nigger" in this election and this thread could possibly have been a platform for discussing the idea if only it hadn't degenerated into loads of juvenile, navel-gazing drivel about "nihilism" [sheesh] and people being "worse than the terrorists".
