Stylus RMX Multitimbral Midi

I have Stylus RMX setup in Live 7. When I feed different midi channels into Stylus nothing plays except midi channel 1, which plays all 8 stylus channels. This leaves me with no multitimbral Stylus use. I would have to load 8 different Styli just to get multi-timbral use.

Is this a problem with the latest version of Stylus, or something I'm missing in Live?

Haven't used RMX in a while , but i did save this link. It's a template someone posted for Live7 and RMX. Might be of use to you.

Make sure stylus is set to multi-timberal mode - bottom right menu in its control window I think - nothing is powered up at the mo, so cant check.

I know it works as this is how I allways use it.

Thanks guys. I tried that link, and it was still playing (ie midi channel 2 was playing all midi channels, and so was every other midi channel).

I'll look into the multi timbral mode. But all I see is immediate, next beat, then the slice & groove mode. No real multi timbral button. It actually works in Reaper, but not Pro-Tools or Live.

Kontakt 2 works though. In Live that is, with mulit timbral midi.

I'm pretty new to Stylus RMX but there is a wealth of information available HERE.
What little I know about this feature-rich instrument I've gotten there. You'll likely draw a reply from Glenn Olander, one of the principal designers.
