Really? They are really big in the UK at the moment, a very hyped band. Although justifiably I think..

Foals aren't that good surely, they were absolutley gash last time i saw them, something about being surrounded by 15 year olds with stupid hair cuts puts me off seeing bands like this...however, i do think the album has some great parts.

are the stems for this song only available from last.fm?

the acapella part is stupid, multitracked vox and soaked in delay.

they should have made loops from the other parts to keep the download smaller and left the vocal clean..in fact it should be offered as 2 parts, one with just the vocals and one with the rest as im not going to use the backing track at all..

meh.

=) I can see why that might put you off! I'm quite a fan of them, although the original of this track I'm not that keen on, made it an interesting one to remix though...

The Stems are only on last.fm, they are all wavs tho and free, unlike the Radiohead one, I can't believe them making people pay for the stems for a competition, do they not make enough money already?

Yeh Shame they left the delay on, its made a lot of the remixes sound very similar...

thats true, most of the ones i heard were very similar..

its not too bad i just stuck a gate on the vocals and its cutting out most of the delay, and im just sticking them through a different reverb / delay so what leaks through doesnt affect it too much..

apart from the delay though, whats up with the massive silence on the start of each track. talk about wasting bandwidth.
