42 here.

Was a full time DJ in my late teens/early twenties, give it up as the money I made from it wasnt as good as a regular day job - sold the gear to buy a car to get to work - stupidest thing Ive ever done - should havve walked instead :)

Only got back into music again a few years ago.
Nothing to see here - move along!

37.

Working on Cubase since vst 3.5 in 1999 up to SX3 in 2005 and jumped on the Live train in Nov 2006 with Live 6, a great move.

Used 8 track reel to reel (saved for when I got a 'real job' after University, a Fostex R8) and 4 track portastudios etc starting from when we used to nick the high school's Yamaha MTX in 1986 for weekends (sympathetic music teacher turned a blind eye!) and then progressed to Tascam and Fostex models.

35 here and it looks like the 30s are going to take the trophy.

The 25-year-old me would think I'm a total loser for spending so much time on an internet forum in my 30's.
