Selecting non-contiguous clips in Arrangement View

Post by rachmanoff » Tue Apr 29, 2008 7:35 pm

Am I missing something? I can select multiple clips in the Arrangement view, but only if they are right next to each other. In other words - if I want to select more than one clip, I have to select a chunk of time (from all tracks).

Is this really not possible? If not, is there a good reason why it isn't?

Also, it would be useful if there were a "select all before" and "select all after" command for the Arrangement View.

this is one of those things where i just don't understand why it can't or shouldn't be done.

why not have rubber band select / command select apply only to clips and use the loop region to select a whole span of time across all tracks?
