Kill the sound, turn the monitor off, turn down the lights, light some candles or whatever, go get a breathe of fresh air and then hit the space bar for some sound. This changes the whole perspective for the mix.
Good stuff Forge!

Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

in general, take lots of breaks in between sessions. i have a mattress next to my desk, so every 30 to 45 minutes i lie down and read something.
my cousin told me that somebody told him that stepping out and looking at the view as far as you can see is actually good for your eyes. i guess your vision strains from looking at things from a short distance, like books, signs around you, things around you in general, and even worst TVs and computer monitors. so stepping out of the house and focusing your view on to something far away, like the skyline, horizon, your neighbor's house across the street, cars passing by a few blocks away, can help your sight relax, and in turn, you relax as well....
