What Do you think of Depeche Mode?

The vibe and sound on DM albums developed quite alot from the beginning to nowadays. "Just can't get enough" is candy pop stuff made for girlies, but it's still funny party music with a naiv and positive swing. I wasn't much into DM back then. The later ones are far more adult and darker which lead me into buying most of their stuff including the old ones for fun and reference to my childhood. Back then we had "Ronnies Popshow" airing on TV, a music show that was presented by a chimpanzee. We kids loved it!

I love the stuff like "In your room" and "walking in mys Shoes". They're a band that are greater than the sum of their parts. All their solo stuff is a bit sucky imho.
