i currently have a motu 2408 mkIII in serious need of repair.
i opened up a tech link on 08/17/08 and it is still unread.

if i didn't have a presonus firestudio i wouldn't be able to perform with ableton.
i've been holding on to the firestudio for when we get another computer.
honestly i have found a new love for the firestudio. i dont have to bring my mixer to shows any more which is really nice.

i didnt expect it to be fixed by now but i did expect a response and the unit to at least be on its way in for repair.

i'll never buy another motu product.

not if u hav a motu 828 on windows with sound glitching and bsod errors. the only person who has solved it has ended up changing his hard drive and various other hardware, if u hav a laptop ur stuffed. and motu refuse to believe their drivers r at fault.

kinda of slow but they do respond. As for the glitching, i had the same problem when using th 828 with the laptop. it was probably the firewire port. i dont think it's their drivers.

I've heard some pretty bad stories of MOTU's "support" and how you either can't get a hold of anyone or they just never get back to you. The only contact I've had with them is through their Customer Service department when I sold my Ultralite and did a transfer of ownership. I got a hold of someone within minutes and they took care of me super quick style.
