pretty simple question
pretty simple question
When i render down my tracks, how do go about making sure they all play at the same volume when rendered..Ive noticed on my space a couple of the tracks are quite loud..whats the normal process you should go through after rendering to sort out the volume. cheers mike.
learn to read your meters
your tracks play at the same volume as they're rendered.
fix the master fader at 0db and mix your seperate tracks to your like (balanced).
put a spectrum analyzer on your master to get an image of the frequencies and
their relation to each other.
also do RMS (Root Mean Square) analytics of the rendered file to get an idea of "how loud is loud".
get yourself into dynamic effects, such as compressors and limiters. do tutorials and read about.
but first, the mix has to be right - one of the most important things in producing.
ah, and fuck the myspace player. it will bring all effort to shame....
