Any users here ?

Thinking of picking one up, just wondering can the audio trigger input be sent back out through the MIDI outs to trigger other stuff via audio ?

Can't find an answer in the manual.

Sadly not.

(edit: I´m user, but no midi output from audio-in)

+ I have a noticeable latency when triggering it with my bassdrum (via Yamaha 01v).

Really not much (3-5 ms), but noticeable when looked for.

(noticeable, is that word correct?)

Thanks Ray,

That would've been a great feature. Might still get one. How do you find it other than that ?

Well, it makes boom big time. :)

I´m not sure if it is worth the money since you can use samples for production, but thinking about it I will reintegrate it in my live-setup for sure. The trigger button offers kind of independence of midi patterns which is a good thing for live gigs.

you don't need to know anyone's presets for this thing. seriously.
i've never even opened the manual, just plug it in and start turning knobs, super easy.

I don´t use the presets, either.

can u control all the parameters (like pitch, tune, decay) via midi controllers? that would be nice, the single knob makes it hard to fit into a live set

Well, 3-5 ms latency is not noticeable.

You can, by automating some of those you can get some great results.

One thing to look out for on this unit which has happened on y friends... The solder joint on the output will break from the pcb... I have fixed it once and it has done it once again...

Ever tried doubling and delaying a clicky signal (aka bassdrum attack) for 3ms?

Try using these controller numbers in your clip envelopes.

Tune 100
Pitch 101
Decay 102
Harmonics 103
Pulse 104
Noise 105
Attack 106
EQ 107

I thought you talked about triggering the bass drum.
