Dell Multi-Touch Release

Apparently, Dell has released the firmware to enable multi-touch on their XT laptop. Sounds interesting.

Does anyone have one of these? If so, have you tried this with Live yet?

I've read a bunch of reviews, and they mostly say that Dell's multi-touch works with standard apps. Its hard to tell if it works with all apps though. I.e., does Dell's multi-touch rely on some sort of wrapper program that Dell provides for specific apps?

I'm guessing developers will have to build support into their apps for this to work.

But I can't even find any mention of a public API that developers can use to do this...

that's what irks me, too! Where's my multitouch max object, huh? HUH?
