Well kids, I doubt that Ableton will delete my account in time to stop this mess. So let's come to an end.
Here is what I will once show my grandchildren about my life:
And obviously this is what you will show to yours (link to a current b0unce post):

After b0unce's mish mash I doubt anybody will read this, but to reply to an earlier timor statement to TD..... yes timur, you are a noob at audio, the anal, and backwards thinking in the thread you started about Ableton not doing 'perfect' sample rate conversion, and Tone Deafs inability to clarify a single fact, without you rejecting him outright, and arguing with him about it etc. Tone Deaf has worried about audio quality in relation to software and hardware for a living, he knows the math, you simply know what you've learned in the last couple years, BIG difference.
There are very few things I'll give outright to Tone, but audio summing discussions, and conversion questions are where he simply schools you, and me, but your ego is too large to listen to anybody who disagrees with the conclusion you've already come to, in almost every case.

No, you are just working differently and have different needs and demands. Live crashes regulary on me when changing Midi settings (DirectMusic is still a mess), external plugins have altering/modulated attacks/timings (and changing those setting can also lead to crashes) and my shiney new PC that is running Vista is still waiting to be used (so that I can give away the old one including its XP installation). You see quite alot of those "CPU spikes", "glitches" and "sudden crash to desktop" posts on the forum. That kind of inconsistent behavior is not tolerable for live-music gear.
