Hey thanks for looking..
We've updated the Rules section,
to better clear things up..

Also, we've added a soundbyte on the main page from a Radio Station
that's interested in promoting our contest..

Hope this helps some..

Sorry if I'm coming in late on this discussion and this has already been answered, but who are some of the #1 producers on your team?
Well, why am I not on his team, lol?

You two should form a duet, you got something going on there.

b0unce is going to insist on being the bottom in that duet, so watch out.

Uh, their home page says they have already announced the winners, but they never bothered to list the entries? Awesome contest.

Seeing as I was one of the winners, I got back in touch with them, and
apparently, they've set up a label page where the winning tracks are listed,
with short snippets of each entry.

They're "in the proccess of working out the details with [their] promoters and
distributors". I replied that I hoped they'd at least drop the other winners a
line about this too - this was five days ago, haven't heard from them since.

The site they set up is http://aerbornrec.weebly.com/.

My entries are the Acid Pets ones, FWIW... (Don't know why they've dubbed
one of them a "Dark" remix, but you know... Whatever. Also, the version they
used for that snippet was a tad too loud, really)

congrats on the win! even if they're bullshit, it's something!

do you think they're legit? to me it reads like they had nothing, they
started a remix contest to get material and are building a label around
that. it's not completely honest but business is business, I'd be interested
to read how they end up treating you.

Thanks.

Well, I've given up trying to figure these people out. I think your assessment
is pretty spot on; the contest is definitely the basis for their label. They've
seemed very nice in my correspondence with them, but it's been an ongoing
trait for them to always reveal less than they should, so that you basically had
to demand information.

As far as what happens from now on - I really don't care any more, but if I
were to see my mixes being played/sold and never hear from them again, I'd
simply give a heads up around the net, and ask people to boycott. In a way
they've continually been "in the process of sorting out" this and that from day
one (that is, from the moment someone questioned them about the legal
details), which reads like a crock o' shit to me, but for now, I'm willing to
give them the benefit of the doubt; being an amateur doesn't necessarily
make you a crook.

I hope you hear from them.. if they said you won... It does sound like they are setting up a label and trying to get some tracks together... however it sounds fishy about not naming names... and so on..

Also what is up with remixes just giving you vocal... that isn't a remix.. that is just offering a backing track and asking for a completely new song/concept... to me....

However if I were you and ever heard your song being played out... or heard for commercial sale.. I would sue the ever living shit out of them.... especially if they are US or EU based...

not to sound rude.. but that is BS.. you don't go online posting vocals and then get people to 'remix' your tracks or basically create their own tracks with your vocals and then use it.. so watch our for it..

I mean if that is what they are doing they should just be upfront and honest... but don't forget your project files are proof of your material.. :)
