Chicago sucks, I was born south of there, still have relatives out there so I have to go back to Chicago every few years. worn out industrial town, depressing as fuck, segregated, ugly, soot covered brick buildings. cold as fuck or hot as hell.

I actually miss the Chicago of 20 years ago. A bit more gritty. A bit more dirty. A bit more 'anything could happen' kind of town. Now, like most other cities, it's all safe and sound and lovely parks everywhere and people moving in from the Suburbs and fuck me purple.

If Mayor Daley builds another park I'm going to vomit.
