if you need a good FOH/Monitor engineer give me a shout. I've got some down time in October so i don't mind a little touring action.

Try to do more than one show in NYC. See if you can sync up a few events here. Contact DJ Shakey about playing the Warper Party ( http://www.warperparty.com/ ). Try to set up Live clinics while you're here too. They have them at places like Tekserve ( http://www.tekserve.com/ ) and SAE ( http://www.saeny.com/ ). I would even say you'd have a good chance to book a clinic at the Apple Store in SoHo ( http://www.apple.com/retail/soho/ ). That store has the best demonstration area of all the NY stores. This guy Gemma from Big Art Group did an Ableton demonstration there a few years ago, so I'm sure they'd be interested in booking another one, and you guys certainly have the credentials.

As far as actual shows go, I would suggest trying your damnedest to contact booking people/promoters. It's easier said than done, that's for sure, because it can be really difficult to get the attention of these people. You have to try and you have to be inexhaustibly persistent about it. And you can't take rejection or what feels like rejection personally. As far as where to start, investigate these for contacts:

Also contact http://www.turntablelab.com . I think they are involved in some show booking type of stuff, and your Ableton clinic background could help you get in. They do a lot of stuff in LA too.

Best of luck to ya.

I guess I'll need to wait until next year for the Melody Tent.
