bcr2000: problem firing clips
hi again,
im beginning to make progress with my bcr2000. i at last setup cc's on every knob/button and hav almost made a worthy preset for live. except one majorish issue. i want to use buttons to launch clips.
button 1 is say set at cc# 60, toggle off, on parameter = 127, off = 0, ch 1
when i map the button to a clip and then come out of midi map mode, the clip is constantly re-launching without me even pressing any buttons. in fact the only way to stop the clip is to go back into midi map mode.
so then i change it to toggle on, still get the same issue, also if i change the on/off parameters, it still happens.
everything else seems thing.
i can toggle mutes, solo's, etc. and also select tracks and toggling on/off works fine for other functions other than launching clips. i.e i have toggle off for beat repeat, so i can hold it down like note repeat function on an mpc. pretty good.
any ideas what im doing wrong when mapping clips?
thanks

what should the correct settings be?irrelevance wrote:If it's not a simple mistake in the settings,a sticking button or the same cc used elsewhere then I would recommend midi ox to trouble shoot the fault.
mayb it should b assigned as a note, then note on/off, as opposed to cc? havnt got the net at home, so this is gonna b impossible to find out. plus this issue occurs on any button i use and only for firing clips (so far anyway), all over parameters seem okay.

tried it, same problem. really odd.robleighton22 wrote:will do. i dont hav the internet at home at the moment, so will c what happens tonight. cheersirrelevance wrote:Try changing to toggle on and set the 1st val to 0 and the second to 127.
ok so ive tried:
cc# 103, ch=1, toggle off, value 1=0 value2= 127
cc#=103, ch=1, toggle on, value 1=0 value 2 =127
the clip wont stop retriggering, unless i delete the parameter in midi map mode.
any ideas?
edit:
works now. my midi yoke seemed to b conflicting. when i turned it off, its works. how annoying. ah well, at least i can start mapping.
