what city are you in?
This was in Norman, OK, although I have heard from people all over the country who've been scammed. That wikipedia article has the goods....quite an involved scam. I ended up selling mine to a co-worker for $50....he was quite happy. :D

I think the MC303 was my second worst gear purchase. I know some people just rock out on them, but I failed to get anything even remotely pleasing going on. Fail!

Dude. So wrong. Build quality is just fine on a MacBook, and the processors are a nearly identical spec to the MBP, lol.

I'm genuinely surprised. I popped an extra gig of RAM in mine and now I spend my days chuckling at MBP owners for having spent the extra cash on things they'll never use when they could have had more or less the same for a shed load less cash.

hmm, but the mediocre built quality is true. All three macbook owners among my friends have this crack in the plastic at the front of their machine. I thought mine wouldn't have this, but now, after one year and half, it's cracking as well.

tbh, yes, that's true. I am missing bits of plastic from the front. But as far as performance goes, no complaints from me.
