hey! does anyone of you macbook pro (w/ santa rosa chipset) owners have a firewire800 expresscard 34 for production use?
which expresscards work well, which don´t?
i just found some with a IEEE 1394b TI phy:
Exsys EX-6701
LaCie Firewire 800 ExpressCard 34
btw, the NitroAV ProFireWire 800/1394b ExpressCard from the apple store is overpriced imo.
share your experience!
thanks!

don´t get me wrong, but this is not what i am asking for. the link you´ve provided shows a SATA card only. i am looking for a FireWire800 ExpressCard and to avoid problems it should have a TI phy controller.
I´ve found some more 1394b (=FW800) expresscards:
-Belkin FireWire 800 ExpressCard (which chipset does this expressard have? i couldn´t find any information related to the built in 1394b chipset).
-many Siig FW800 cards (but you won´t find any here in europe)
-Sonnet FW800 ExpressCard
-DAWICONTROL DC-FW800 EXPRESSCARD FW 800 1394B
btw here is a site with reports regarding 34/expresscards tested with macbooks
