The ease of use outweighs missing features for me at this point. Plus I've been using it exclusively for 6 years, so I know it backwards and forwards. My main barrier is myself, my ears, and my knowledge, not the app.
same here!

Viva la LIVE!
I sequence/song write/produce in Live. I use UA plugs, and Reason for Bass (and Thor/Maelstrom).
I LOVE this damn DAW!!

No need for anything else. Sold my 002R and bought a Duet. The sound quality is much better.

I find mixing really hard in Live.
I'm hoping that Live 8 is all about working on the arrange page.
Fingers crossed!
That's step one for doing all my work in Live.
Step 2 may involve the cycling74 partnership. We'll see...

Only Live. It does everything I need for now, and is a very transparent sequencer to work with.

Just Live and ditched Logic (that I used for almost 10 years) for it by the way.

I work in live only. It has been that way since live4 came out. As soon as live worked with midi it was all I was interested in. I do not do multitrack audio recording so I feel little need for a program like protools. There are features I want but not enough to cause me to change. I hope Live8 works on the DAW side of the program more. I do not need another instrument. I wish Ableton would say in the world of improving Live and not an instrument company.
