i accidentally change my custom vst folder on ableton to the program files directory. now everytime i open live it crash....
im using pc for this one, do anyone knows how to reset the vst folder without opening live?

You must delete your "Preferences.cfg" file from
XP: C:/Documents and Settings/your user name/Application Data/Ableton/Live/Preferences
Vista: c:/users/username/appdata/roaming/ableton/live/preferences/
Note that on some Windows systems the application data folder is hidden by default. Here is what you have to do to make it visible:
Windows XP/2000
1. Launch Explorer.
2. Select Tools/Folder Options/View.
3. Check "Show hidden files and folders."
