I created a Last FM account about a year ago. I was in the process of putting out my first CD. I uploaded all of the songs myself.

I mistakenly uploaded MP3s that were too high of a bit rate. I'd check on my Last FM page from time to time, but the songs never made it. A couple of months went by. I guess I was too lazy/busy to redo it. Thankfully the files I sent them originally eventually got put up.

I uploaded a video a few months ago too. That file also took them a long time to finally make public on my page.

I think Last FM is totally great. The only thing that's not so great about it is the technical writing that drives the content. "Scobbling" and such just makes it unnecessarily confusing.
