What the hell? DSI price hike?
I just checked the price of a couple of DSI products on Digital Village's website (got a minor chunk of cash this week). I am now a bit peeved to say the least!
The Desktop eVolver has gone up by £70 since last month (It's now £419) and the MoPho has gone up by £25 (Now £277).
What the hell happened there then? Grrr...

Just to let you know...I have a Mint condition Desktop Evolver I am selling for $350.00. I LOVE THIS SYNTH! I am selling it to buy a polyevolver! It is listed on Houston Craigslist, and will be going on Ebay this weekend. I have 100% positive feedback. Just thought you'd like to know...
Regardless, it's a great unit. Check out the free pdf called "The definitive Guide to Evolver". It's a great tutorial on the Evolver and synthesis in general.

The £ seems to be sucking badly at the minute. Maybe that had an effect on imports (I have no idea where the Evolver etc come from).logic_user99 wrote:The Desktop eVolver has gone up by £70 since last month (It's now £419) and the MoPho has gone up by £25 (Now £277).

You know I played around with the desktops in stores for days, and like them OK, and recently came into a Poly Evolver, traded some stuff for it. My only complaint is I wish it was at least 6 voices. but it's not any big deal. The thing sounds HUGE!amcnally336 wrote:I am selling it to buy a polyevolver!

Rather the US dollar has grown stronger the last two weeks. Almost 30% compared to the swedish krona. That has to influence the prices of american goods in europe.mkelly wrote:The £ seems to be sucking badly at the minute. It is a bit ridiculous at the moment (if one more person says 'credit crunch' to me, I'm going to kick them in the cnut) - I guess the global impact of the bank's over-lending is starting to show now.
Roll on recession! Let's start from scratch and get it bloody right this time! That still doesn't get me an eVolver for much cheaper, but I can live with that for now.
