Chicago Innovative Electronic Music

Has anyone in Chicago checked out this group at meetup.com? I've been a member online for a bit, but never gone to any of the events... one caught my interest recently-- the 'open channel' event which is basically a bunch of musicians/djs doing ~20 min. sets and switching out w/o stopping the music. Looks like a smaller event, but it could be fun, and a great way to test out new material or a new setup.

I have not been to this group outing specifically, but I've been to some of LIz's events, and she's very active and promotional in the electronic scene here. And a very good supporter of innovative electronica beyond the same old house/industrial/hiphop that you see everywhere.
