Class Description:
Students will learn how to record, mix, create and compose music using Ableton Live Suite 8 software: basic Ableton usage, MIDI and audio best practices, keyboard commands, synthesis techniques, effects and routing, sampling, extended techniques for audio and video, integrating control surfaces, live performance and DJ mix optimization.
All experience levels are welcome, this is a great class for beginners but experienced Ableton users will learn new tricks and refine their abilities. Bringing in your own laptop is not required but is recommended.
