To celebrate the release of version 9 we have organized a special meet-up for experienced users, trainers, and maybe a few curious beginners.
I will also use this opportunity to officially launch the long-awaited LSS-DJeq plugin.
This is not a product demo
This is not an open day
We will not try to sell anything
This is also not an official meet-up endorsed by anyone, and doesn't claim to be a meeting of the London user group
We simply want to meet face to face with other people that use Live to talk about music, share experiences and learn from each other (many of us have very unusual and interesting hacks and techniques), and have a beer or two (yes, we will provide beers and crisps)
If you want to bring your laptop and controllers we will have speakers and projector ready so you can just plugin and show everyone else how you work with Live.
We really hope that someone will already have PUSH to get the rest of us jealous, but there will be all sorts of midi controllers there.
Probably most of us will already have 9 installed so this will be an opportunity for those that have not upgraded yet to see what's the big deal.
The place is at 16 Bromell's Road London SW4 0BG, a few steps from the Clapham Common tube station on the Northern Line
Some more info can be found on http://londonschoolofsound.co.uk/abletonfestIf you are around London this Saturday 9 March between 1pm and 5pm we really hope you can make it.
Whether we get five or fifty people is definitely going to be fun (if it's less than twenty I promise to buy pizza for everyone)
