I'm having a trouble with my Live 9 today. It crashes every time i open it. I have report it to Ableton's support, but i might have answer tomorrow. This is the screenshot of the crash.

I found the solution. The problem is the auto update feature. But you shouldn't use the earlier version because it won't solve the problem. Just do a fresh install and you're good to go.
