I just need help on how to connect my Tascam 414 MKII with Ableton Live 9. How to record audio into the tascam and then record audio back into Ableton Live. I'm really stuck here. I need help. Thank You

Er, how can I put this? You've got Ableton Live. You don't need the 414 any more. You can record into your computer.

Thanx a lot. Seriously I just need to get the Lo-Fi sound and plus I feel it will be better with mixing.

You know you can get tape simulator plug-ins? They'll give you lo-fi "in the box", without needing to record back & forth to cassette tapes.


Anyway, if you really want to connect the 414 to your computer, then use audio cables....

Plug the outputs from your computer's audio interface (you haven't said what it is) to the inputs of the 414. Plug the outputs of the 414 into the inputs of your computer's audio interface.
