Hey there, we’re a laptop trio, of course we use Ableton and Link and we play/make songs in an electronic context, but we also jam in between tracks.
We are looking for a drummer or percussionist who is also a producer, or has an interest in music production, DAW’s, Ableton, etc.
We are also producers, but with another background (singing, guitar & piano) and we think that people with a drumming/percussion background can make more interesting beats, but it’s not really about the beats, its about playing with a drummer/percussionist who participates in the musical experience, anticipating the chord changes, anticipating the arrangements, introducing people into new spaces, etc. Basically rhythmical people who are interested in the infinite possibilities of technology applied to music.
Ideally you have a laptop and some sort of midi controller (or e-drum set or drum machine), if not, it’s also cool, we have two roland spd-sx in our studio (where we also rehearse).
