OK

I've got the Hive bar (upstairs) for wednesday 19 April from 8ish

access to the soundsystem is sorted too. Does anyone want a projector for big screenshots or are we gonna talk bollocks and play demos/cds? You are all welcome to bring laptops of course.

Any other ideas for what we want to do with the night, pm me.

EDIT: NOT THE 12TH BUT THE 19TH OF APRIL....

About ze programm, an idea: depending on the amount of people coming, we might give the possibility to each one to give a short live (pun intended) and/or DJ performance? I've been to "open decks" kind of evenings where 20 minutes of time has been enough and enjoyable for everyone.

Otherwise, freeform bollocks-talking is just fine, meeting like-minded people is always good fun.

Just my 2p.

I am a new Live 5 user - and would be well up for a meet. I'm still learning so I wont be able to offer much but i love talking about tunes, getting geeky about sounds and general freestyle codshit 8)

I live in Greenwich and work near Brick lane.
Last night a SAW wave saved my life.

That goes for me as well! But definately up for it.

Will it end up being an awkard geek meeting though!?

Should we play some kind of game to break the ice?

Name tags?

Usernames or real names?

Sounds good, I will be bringing my laptop with me. So audio and MIDI cables then? And I'd imagine we have powerstrips (and obviously, access to power...) around?

And surely we can come up with some activity, couple of beers and a shared interest always seems to work :)

i don't have time to go home(in essex) to pick up the midi splitter , i am having a really tought time in the studio spending endless hours listening to a singer trying to get it right for the recording .
so if someone has a splitter or can stop at turnkey to grab one , that would be great .i'll bring the mk2 to sync & mix , i have got a spare adat rack of preamp to get more input ,that makes 10 stereo inputs .
if no one can bring a splitter i gess the deal would be to give playing slots to djs.

spiderprod - nice specs, I'm jealous. 8O

This should be cool.

I'll be doing a lot of 'over-shoulder looking' and, of course, some drink buying.

Brixton Tube station seems to be closed this week due to some refurbishment at the station.

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/realtime/?tim ... =22208_TfL

so anyone planning to use the tube, note the alternative arrangement in the travel info. The usual alternative "rail replacement bus service" ;-)

sorry everybody

due to a mixup with the arrangements (my fault) we've got the bar on the 19th NOT this week.

Again -sorry about that, it's going to be NEXT week and the tube station will be open then.
