St. Catharines.
Using Live as a quick way to compose.
I have found Live very addictive.

I also work with a guy that uses Live. So that's 2 users in the Niagara area.

I will be performing at 04:30... Finally a good time slot but I will have to be on my best behaviour with my vice's prior to playing... This will be a good party dress up and stay till dawn...

Step right up folks!!!! Step right up!!!! Every family has a secret in their closet, even us kids at Salem's Loft!!!

This is our 3rd Annual Halloween Bash, and this time we're going to make it really special. Yes sir! This year, we've finally decided to let our beloved Granny out of the chilly ol' attic to party with all of you!!!! Bet you didn't know we even had a Granny in the attic did you?!!!

You and your loved ones are all cordially invited to come on down to Salem's Loft to sample the elixirs from Granny's kitchen, the ghostly art on Granny's walls, and maybe even, at the stroke of midnight shake Granny's boney, bloody hand in thanks for joining her this eve!!!!!

She may be old, may even be dead, but that don't mean she still can't party! So we've put together an amazing line-up just for you and Granny. Jammed with pranksters, artists, and acrobats! This is the magic potion. Welcome to Crazy Granny's Halloween Spectacular!!!!!

ya the Vdrums where a BIG gift to myself. I have been playing often. My chops are not what they once where. I want to try and get some serious minimal techno goodness going on between ableton and my Vdrums. I am starting to try and think up some type of live PA that envolves them as they totaly KILL the "checking my mail"problem. Only time will tell.

hello from germany, canadian live-collegues,

I am as a bassplayer doing a small tour with a band and play shows on 5th of january 2007 in Montreal and on 6th of january in Toronto.

we arrive on 3rd/4th in Montreal and leave Toronto on 8th.

I would be glad if anyone could give me a few tips for open jam-sessions, live-parties or may be a studio job  that week
(especcially on the 4th in montreal and 7th in Toronto),
or anything, which is worth knowing, for it is my 1st trip to canada.

thanks in advance

michael
cheers, michael

Trade a Nord Lead2 for a Nord Modular?

Post by Mike Goodwin » Mon Nov 06, 2006 4:11 am

I love the nord but I just feel like a change. I would be willing to pay a little bit on top of the trade. Looking at this page it seems that the modular is selling for about a hundred bucks more. My Lead is in great cosmetic shape and is working as new.

Anyone out there?

||||Any Interest in a Toronto Laptop Live Pa Monthly||||

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the title implies... I was PM'd the other day from a member on this board regarding gigs in Toronto... Unfortunatly the collective of which I belong does not have room for other performers but I had been pondering the idea of starting a monthly somewhere.... Preferably lower east side in my hood Leslieville/South Riverdale/St.Lawrence...

I know here in Toronto and probably any other place it takes a bit of effort to schmooze your way into the local scene... Having an open night would give a free oppurtunity to other performers looking to hone and expose their chops...

I do have one place in mind that would probably be up for it on King St. near George Brown... Another caveat is that in 2 months I will have to devote time to help my wife with the arrival of our new son... Having done this 17 yrs ago it does take up one's time so I would require help with this endeavour...

Any interested parties let me know...

brian.
