Through the creation and aggregation of likeminded individuals, a community is made. The coming together of this community paints a vivid picture of philosophers of centuries past, meeting in venues and places that beckon virtuosity of thought.

In 2006 let's share our thoughts and create a renaissance of electronic music performane and take our art to the next level.

Launching at the awesome venue in the city, V-Bar ... (Cnr Pitt & Liverpool St, City Center) is the Sydney Live Usergroup.

What better way to spend an evening than to hear fellow live users bang on their tunes and get the latest tips and meet likeminded Ableton Live users like yourself in a lavish environment with fancy lighting, projector and a completely decked out DJ booth to boot whilst drinking scooners of amazing beer, nibbling down on fresh bar food and topping it up with amazing cocktails made by the wonderful staff of the V-Bar.

Within a week from now, I will finalize the date and get it locked in as they are working a staff roster out to give us our own barman. So please RSVP on this thread as this will help me organize and notify you guys if you are specifically interested in being notified if the date changes.

The vibe of this place really rocks and it's so easy to get to for anyone in sydney... hopefully we can drag every Live-head out from under their rocks and put on a wicked night.

I'm proud to announce the affiliation of Intermusic and the Live Sydney Usergroup.

The date has now been confirmed and so has the session schedule.

Please bring your laptops with Live and any Audio CD's you may have with track's you've made in Live so that you can share your performances and productions with the rest of us.
