Get CarbonCopy Cloner. It can make a bootable clone of your harddisk & is donationware, so next time something happens...

hi latufe,

just a thought: could it be you have audio hijack or another audio enhancement app installed? this has proven to be problematic sometimes, so I´d recommend to give a complete uninstall a try if that´s the case.

best,

hi everybody! the issue is somewhat solved, but with very frustrating results, as i dont know the reason for it.. as i said, i gave my macbook to repair, (i suspected that maybe my ventliation is faulty, and the cd drive didnt work) so the dude at the store told me he opend it, and everything seemed fine, so he just put it back together... well, i went to the studio, turned it on, and everything worked like magic, which is actually the worst, cause i have no idea what caused it! ill try to see if theres and developments (ive been working with it sience 2 days and everything is really fine) and ill let you know,

thanks for everbodys time and patiance,

l.
