Recording MIDI changes the tempo, causes crash
Recording MIDI changes the tempo, causes crash
I have an issue where when recording midi notes, somehow the master tempo will slow down to 0 beats per minute, sometimes causing a crash. It happens, as far as I can tell, randomly, and I am not sure whether it is a particular note I play or something else. It is driving me crazy. Anyone have a similar issue, or know what is wrong?
Thank you in advance.

I'm curious about your G5 intel...
Re: Recording MIDI changes the tempo, causes crash
In what way? Don't see what that would have to do with it. Seems like somehow the midi keyboard is taking control of the tempo and dragging it to zero, even though it is set to control a synth instead. It is totally weird, and driving me crazy. Is no one else having this problem?longjohns wrote:I'm curious about your G5 intel...

In the way that no such thing exists. (?)stuckonon wrote:In what way? Don't see what that would have to do with it.longjohns wrote:I'm curious about your G5 intel...

I think you should upgrade to 7.0.15

So alright, in proper nomenclature I have a Mac Pro 2 X 3ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon.
I have upgraded to 7.0.15. Recording midi notes still causes tempo to reset to 0, causing Live to crash. This ever happen to anyone else? Could something be amiss with automap?
