I have always had this issue but Live 8's GUI is worse the version 7. Whenever I open a Midi Clip or Wav clip and watch the playback, the current time bar seems to struggle and is choppy. It's especially choppy if I move my mouse around. It seems to also be worse with longer clips. Does anyone else have this same problem?

Windows XP Sp3
2.1 Dual Core AMD
4gb ram

So I guess no one has this problem? Maybe it's my graphics card?

make sure you have the latest gfx drivers
