I downloaded and installed the new "Samplification" Ableton package and was wondering how can I locate newly installed samples in the Library. So I tried to search Library for "Mallets" using the search in Live Devices and it has taken too long time and eventually crashed Live. Then I tried to look for "samplification", and it took about 15 minutes on a 2.4 Ghz MacBook (Feb 2008/ Mac OS X 10.5.7) and eventually gave no results.
Question 1: Don't you agree it's not OK that it takes so long to search for items in the Library?
Question 2: How can I find all newly installed "Samplification" package files at once for a quick check?
Regards,
Andrejs

Me too. In fact searching for anything takes ages. I can feel an 8.0.5 coming on...
Re: Ableton 8.0.4: Searching library takes too long...
In my opinion samplification has nothing to do with the long time it takes to search through the library... The live search function is very slow in comparison to the windows search function since I can remeber. Thus I avoid using the live search.

I had the same problem, no search results with "samplification". I deinstalled samplification and installed it again, this worked. maybe "repairing library" would work, too, I didn't try this.
