Another Boring Dithering Problem

Post by Naive Teen Idol » Tue Sep 08, 2009 6:44 pm

Ok, so I just recorded a song in 24-bit, with two Reaktor FX plug-ins. It's pretty dense and rhythmic. When I try to mix it down to 16-bit, I'm getting all sorts of pumping and so forth that I assume is a result of the program failing to dither properly.

This may be taken care of in Live 7 and 8, but I have Live 6. Is there anything I can do without having to BUY another piece of software (ie, Ozone)? Is there a trick for getting around it?
