LIVE 8.0.5 Hangs on launch...?

Hi.

Just installed 8.0.5. Can't get past the mini-splash screen. I get stuck where it says "Launching audio and midi ..." I have to force quit then reboot the machine.

Anyone else?

Just installed 8.05 on OSX 10.6.1

Icon bounces in dock for half a minute then stops but live wont start.
8.04 is working fine.

Hi Guys,

that sounds strange, please try if deleting Live´s preferences and template fixes the problem.
Open:
user/library/preferences/ableton/live 8.0.5

Delete the files preferences.cfg and (if available) template.als

Does Live boot up thereafter?

I´m afraid it´s my fault. Seems that the MAC got confused. A reboot solved the issue.
Sorry for that one, should have tried it first, but normally a Mac doesnt need a reboot

I have experienced the same problem and it has affected my 8.0.4 versions now to the extent that I neither version will launch. I am starting to seeth now as the whole process ends up freezing my system and I have had to do 5 forced restarts.

It all began when I tried to launch 8.0.5.

I have never had any problems before. Help!
[EDIT: I tried the above tip but it didn't work....]

Ended up having to trash 8.0.5, 8.0.4, all the Prefs and re-install 8.0.4 (luckily I kept the install download from last time). Won't be bothering with 8.0.5.
