ez drummer drag and drop midi not working in live 8

I could not get it to work in 8.04 or 8.05. Any one else run in to this? Any solutions?

can a kind soul with ez and live 8 verify is it's broken on your system before I bother to reinstall?

works fine here. used it last night and made a load of grooves out of the 'funkmaster' expansion midi files.

can't get it to work in 8...probobly because I am on Vista 64-bit

I am having the same problem
i am running vista 32 with 8.0.5 and have the latest version of ez drummer
i can hear the drums when i play them through the ez drummer window but can't drop them into live at all
if anyone could help id be extremely greatful

I GOT IT WORKING!!!

1st I uninstalled EZD and then went to the command prompt and called up "regedit"

than I searched ezdrumer Multiple times and deleted all of the files left in the registry..

I also de-authorized my ezd plug-in and ezx's ( dont know if this is necessary)

than I reinstalled EZ and re-authorized( by dragging it into live 8 and then adding the reg code, and drag and drop is working again..

a definite pain in the butt but now everything has been great ( Knock on wood)

I'm having this issue as well I can listen to it and edit the midi but I have to do it manually. It will not allow me to drag and drop the midi grooves. Lame...

please try the following:

Close all apps and turn off User Account Control

1. Choose Start > Control Panel
2. In Classic View, double-click User Accounts
3. Click on 'Turn User Account Control on or off'
4. Uncheck 'Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer'
5. Click OK
6. Restart the computer

Alternatively run the Live 8 application as Admin:
Browse to the Live application: C:\Program Files\Ableton\Live 8.x.x\Program\Live 8.x.x.exe

Do a right-click on the Live 8.x.x.exe and select Run as administrator
