I just switched to mac and i'm tryingto install some virtual instruments.
I copy pasted the vst files to libary/audio/plug-ins/vst and audio units to .../component folders, i have enabled the "use audio units" and "use vst-plugins system folders" but only plug-ins that are showing up are apple AU:s and TAL-Bassline.
Do i have to do something else to make my plugs show up in the browser?
I'm using Live 8.0.5 with OSX Leopard 10.5.8.
(And yes i have rescanned the plugins and tried to restart Live)
VST:s and Audio Units wont show up in browser
Re: VST:s and Audio Units wont show up in browser
Hello,
You have to activate "Use VST plugin system folders" in the Preferences File/Folder tab.
Also, you have to make sure that your plug-ins are in "UB" format if you use a IntelMac.
To check this, select a VST in the Finder, call "get info" from the Finder´s File menu and check if it
says "Universal" in the Get info dialogue.
Best,
Christian

I think problem was on corrupted files. Reinstalled everything and all works well.
