Automation in the Clip View.

Hi there!

I just purchased Live 8 and there's one thing I just can't get to work. (if its even possible)

I want to automate other things than just pitch and modulation. I've got a m-audio axiom 25 and an akaiAPC40 hooked up to my computer and when I turn the pitchwheel on my Axiom the pitch gets recorded (unless you move the wheel only a little bit at the start of the clip again, then everything is deleted again, don't get that either) but when I turn a knob on my APC40 the parameter it's assigned to changes but is not recorded into the clip. The clip is on record so I don't know what to do more to record that parameter.

What am I doing wrong?

There is noboy here that knows if its possible to automate other parameters than pitch and modulation in the clip view?

It's not possible due to some problems with abelton's code.

I hate to break it to but you cant record Automation in the Session view but if you have Max4Live you can get a Max patch that does it but i havent tried it yet i just got max4live today
